and yet, the gem on pink diamond’s mural is “normal”

it’s probably just a design choice but its something that caught my eye regardless. maybe they didn’t want to display a diamond with such a “deformity” on her mural idfk

but there’s a problem with that

All her stuff from when she was actually colonizing planets was huge.

But why? Well, here’s what I’ve been thinking: Look how Pink acted in the weird dream flashback, mashing buttons, throwing tantrums, etc…

And Yellow didn’t say if pink ever has a colony of her own–she said when.

So, here’s my alternate proposal:

Pink Diamond, and likely Diamond-kind as a whole, is the exception to the rule that Gems always start as adults.

Pink IS a brat, but she reminds me of a younger Steven in a way? So eager to be a crystal gem and one of the team, and NOT just the cute little kid who’s too young and inexperienced to handle the big boy stuff

It must have been hard for Pink to see her sisters with so much power and respect, desperately wanting to be considered an equal to them, but always being looked down on and talked down too
