college is just the worst opinions you’ve ever heard being counted as participation points

if you’ve ever taken an ethics class with 19 year old rich white business majors, you should automatically get your degree because enduring four months of Ryan Henry Harrington III’s hot takes will be the hardest thing you ever have to do

I can attest. I was an honors student at a private Christian University where I and one other student were the only two kids in the class who came from a public school and let me tell you, those rich kids had some… interesting opinions lol.

Good morning! I’m salty.

I think we, as a general community, need to start taking this little moment more seriously.

This, right here? This is asking for consent. It’s a legal necessity, yes, but it is also you, the reader, actively consenting to see adult content; and in doing so, saying that you are of an age to see it, and that you’re emotionally capable of handling it.

You find the content you find behind this warning disgusting, horrifying, upsetting, triggering? You consented. You said you could handle it, and you were able to back out at any time. You take responsibility for yourself when you click through this, and so long as the creator used warnings and tags correctly, you bear full responsibility for its impact on you.

“Children are going to lie about their age” is probably true, but that’s the problem of them and the people who are responsible for them, not the people that they lie to.

If you’re not prepared to see adult content, created by and for adults, don’t fucking click through this. And if you do, for all that’s holy, don’t blame anyone else for it.

This needs to be reblogged today.

UHM…. SO….

IF YOU GUYS ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO POST YOUR NSFW ART….

image

….yeah.

This is real.

I need a word that encompasses ‘maybe touched’, ‘profoundly weirded out’ and ‘…oh’.

And gleeful as fuck.  For truly, the internet is for porn.

WAIT

…….fuck it. I wonder what the pornhub pay out is like compared to patreon.

Who knew writing erotica on pornhub could be a legitimate career 😂😂😂

Pornhub is there when life gets hard and when you get fucked (by tumblr).

Dont tempt me, holy fuck

Alright monsterfuckers, I’m trying it out! Come join me!

You know what I just might

Seriously debating this

I……. I didn’t realize this was an option and for the life of me I am almost tempted

yo, hey friends, I am now solar_cat over on the PH community, hmu if you wanna be friends over there!

I have to say, looking at the account settings and such so far, it seems like they actually have pretty good privacy options and so on. Gotta get some friends before I can see how the personal feed works and so on, but… not bad, so far! (and I guess it keeps me from browsing it at work, lol!)

SMALL WARNING: you will want to visit your own profile; seems like PornHub will auto-assign you a header image so you may have a profile that just has like, pussy. Right there. Which is what happened to me, and which I have just changed (you can use their stock images or upload your own). JUST A HEAD’S UP! XD

OKAY SO. Thus far I have discovered that PH Community’s feed has a 20,000 character limit for text posts, and a slightly limited emoji library (not terribly important, but good to know). However, it WILL let you post text (and has basic text editing functions built in so you don’t have to write your own HTML), pics, gifs, and video. There’s a “Community Feed” that seems to be the default view, which is, predictably, entirely porn. However, the “My Feed” section gives you only the users/communities you subscribe to, and will actually even let you filter that further (which I would try if I didn’t only have 1 subscription currently; as is I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference).

I…  I… I just can’t believe that PornHub has presented itself as a legitimate replacement for a certain segment of the Tumblr community.

This is just so bizarre.  So epic.

And, somehow, so right.

i find myself wishing i was an erotica writer, not just an adventure writer who doesn’t censor the sex scenes much. i don’t think pornhub would be a good place for me to promo books that have maybe 2 pages of not-very-explicit sex in a 200 page book. but it looks so… so cozy over there…

I never thought this might be an option but… I might give it a try

The problem with pornhub is that they allow pirated porn up on their site. Paypal, a company that won’t take service from sexworkers, will allow payment for porn through pornhub though, Which is hypocritical.

I try to stand up for the sex worker community, and using pornhub feels smarmy to me.

I’d have to think about it some more…

@nihilismpastry Tumblr technically allowed piraited porn too soooooooo

Lmfao

Fun fact: she left Yahoo citing the staggering incompetence of management and development teams. She was brought in to salvage Yahoo and they proceeded to ignore her and belittle her every chance she got.

I’ve read that it’s a known phenomenon, where a woman is hired or promoted into a position after the project has become a guaranteed disaster, so she takes the fall.

when someone loves you – really loves you – treat them gently. text your best friend back when you can. tell your mother you noticed her haircut and that she was right about that recipe. tell your grandfather that the boats in his bottles are the best things you’ve ever seen. be good to the people who are good to you. it’s the least you can do.

This post makes me feel warm 🙂
