i think pink being like a petulant little sister was one of the least discussed concepts but hhhhnn it makes so much sense

she’s not in control of her emotions nearly as well as the others, so she wouldn’t know how to handle a rebellion, she’d be a problematic commander because she just wants to take and take and take and won’t listen to reason

gosh. this begs a whole lot of questions like was blue more of a mother figure, and is thus stuck grieving like she lost a child? it parallels the way parents who lose children leave their nurseries decorated or hold onto their things. would the other diamonds and their courts be predisposed to dislike pink and her gems? did pink end up shattered because (as with the silhouette where we saw what can be better presumed as pink based on size) she’s way too eager to get her hands dirty and fight herself? was the earth colony something pink took from yellow and thus yellow considered it hers? or was it a throwaway, a consolation, which explains why yellow wants to destroy it? why the hell does steven have dreams from the diamonds’ perspectives if his gem is just a quartz? why would yellow still allow organic life to continue on the moon? would she have eliminated the rest if she had stayed longer? it seems like the moon base was left in a rush, especially considering the information they left open for stevonnie to find, so does that imply that stevonnie’s dream took place right before earth was colonized? if stevonnie’s dream mixes the parental figures they both have, why is “mom” a combination of mrs. maheswaran and yellow diamond? why, in his dreams, would steven consider yellow to be his mother if he’s a gem from pink’s court? the rose being pink diamond theory is ages old and kind of dead, but why does having rose’s gem let steven see what the diamonds see if he’s supposed to be a QUARTZ? Rose Quartz has a lot of motherly characteristics, which isn’t uniform across quartzes, so without another Rose, we don’t know if that’s how all the rose quartzes are or if it has something to do with the diamonds

when will we get to see Nephrite, with whom i have been in love since she was first mentioned??
