Seriously guys, this is one natural event you should NOT get out and document. The fumes can seriously damage your lungs or kill you if it’s too concentrated.
PLEASE evacuate if possible.
If you haven’t seen the news articles or channels yet, the Big Island’s volcano Kilauea erupted and is now causing earthquakes and fissures in the southern side of the island.
AND if you see those cracks in the ground/streets or any fissures, even if they aren’t spitting lava, DON’T TOUCH THEM OR GO NEAR THEM IF POSSIBLE. There’s plenty of filming of the event by helicopters, but this isn’t like a hurricane or tornado where you either have no choice but to sit tight and have the chance to film or can film safely knowing you won’t get hit. Just evacuate and keep safe!

Seriously guys, don’t fuck with a volcano, the volcano will win 100% of the time.
Concept: we are in bed, there is a storm outside but we are happy cuddled up beneath the blankets. The warmth of your skin is all I need as I feel your heartbeat. We are safe.
Jack mentioned the movie The Thing, which stood out to me because that’s my favorite scary movie, but you know what the whole premise of The Thing is?
A creature consuming people and creating copies that look exactly like them, but are actually extensions of the creature. This creature can infect someone through blood contact…like through an open wound.
This goes right along with my theory that who we’re seeing right now is not Jack, but a replacement, while the real Jack is trapped somewhere. My working theory has been that his body was infected and overtaken and he’s trapped in his own mind. Additional evidence includes the weird moments in Monster Prom and Bendy Chapter 4 where he talks about his brain switching off, him not recognizing Dr. Scheeplestein, the image of him trapped in the computer, the scenes in the bathroom, and the Morse code saying, “Where am I?”
Now throw in Chase saying, “You need to wake up.” At one point in the video, he asked, “Am I in a coma?” That seems to connect directly with Chase saying he needs to wake up. It could be that the state of being trapped inside his own head is similar to being in a coma, the difference being that his body is in use by someone else.
This is all very rough, but my thoughts right now are as follows:
I think the egos know he’s trapped and they’re showing up to try to help. First Schneep comes in and instead of treating the person in the chair as his “dear friend” Jack, he has a sort of anxious and angry look when he says, “That is MY chair.” We don’t know what happened directly after that confrontation, but if Schneep knows Jack has been taken over and replaced, he may have tried to subdue “Jack.” Then we had the door to the recording room open again, but we didn’t see who came in – we just saw Jack’s scared face on the computer screen. Now Chase is trying to contact the real Jack and tell him he needs to wake up, which may follow Schneep subduing the impostor.
I don’t actually have enough information to create a fully-fledged theory right now. There are so many ways all these pieces might fit together, and these are just my very first thoughts following what we saw today, so my mind is almost certainly going to change about what’s going on as I read others’ reactions and as we get more information. We know Jack loves horror and sci-fi movies, so I’m on the lookout for nods to the conventions of these genres to give clues about what’s going on.
I just wanna say, regardless of whether this cryptic, creepy stuff is leading up to Anti/ego stuff or not, regardless, the stuff that’s been happening lately is awesome.
It’s all so creative- whether it’s Schneeps amazing return, or the creepy TV-glitches, or whatever the “hand” thing means… it’s such an amazingly creative concept- and seeing the community become so creative and come together about it too is so fantastic.
Jack’s ideas and acting have become SO great, and Robin’s editing (as always!) is just on point.
You two make such an incredible team, and all the sort of horror/sci-fi/mystery vibe around the channel and videos right now is gonna be unforgettable, and is making for SUCH a good time!! I think everyone’s just having a blast right now 😁 and I’m so glad that this is so fun for you guys too, because that’s what it’s all about!! You guys are just so awesome 💚
Almost every ego has now been hinted at, heard, or even seen up until now. Their presence/ fingerprints are all over those recent outros and videos.
Jack wanting to do a “big” video with all the egos together looks more possible and feels closer than ever before. The foundations have been formed ever since each ego got their “Power Hour” episodes, and now we’re building up from that.
