we also know like nothing about lobsters since most of them on the ocean floor and some marine scientists predict that, theoretically, there could be submarine sized lobsters
the thing is, police officers killing animals shouldn’t outrage people more than police officers killing humans and it’s shitty that it often does, but violence toward animals is a very common sign of violent tendencies toward humans. so when a cop kills a dog/cat/groundhog/ect with no good reason to, it should absolutely be taken as a warning sign, just as it would with anybody else hurting animals for no reason.
