Seeing Jack use what he’s learnt from previous fires and storms and now using his skills as a storyteller to keep us in suspense is no short of awesome.

He’s seen how well we analyse things so he’s kept hints to a minimum. He’s seen when we’ve picked up on what thoughts and theories he’s liked in the past and knows that can steer us in a certain direction so this time he’s leaving us to figure out where he’s taking us. He knows we’re looking for patterns in posts and behaviours so he’s mixing up what we see: disappearing posts, a voice, hidden pictures in the static, a fragmented story, a prop in his recording room….

He has us in the palm of his hand this time around since he’s secretly analysed us. Now he’s using our strengths to his advantage, using the momentum to keep pushing us to think in different ways and there’s no sign of him letting up in his efforts to stretch our brains.
