You all are like 12 it’s so embarrassing PLEASE go out of your room and talk to your parents
Actually I’m turning 20 in a couple weeks, I leave the house frequently to visit relatives, go to the store, go to church, go to college classes, go on vacation, and even socialize sometimes, and I do talk to my parent. He totally respects that I have more than one set of pronouns and we’ve had some lovely conversations about it. Some other people that respect it and are helping me to normalize it are the pastor at my church, my friends, my younger brother, most of my classmates I’ve explained it to, most of my aunts and uncles (and I have a lot of those. My grandparents were very busy) my best friend, and a couple of the professors I had last semester. I’ve met 70 year olds that are accepting of this sort of thing. And by the way, calling someone a 12 year old isn’t very insulting. 12 year olds are really interesting people. Quite weird. If you’d talk to some you’d find you can learn a lot from them and they can learn a lot from you. Just like any other age group.
Reblogging for that commentary.
That commentary holy shit.
But also reblogging because yes, normalize this shit.
Please allow me to walk you through my creative process:
Sometimes it starts off as a simple exercise: can I draw an expressive face?
“Nice!” I think to myself. “But…now I’m curious: what has her so terrified? What might possibly-”
“Okay, but this leads into another question: how did he get up there?”
“Of course. We have a reaction (surprise) to an effect (lizard) with a cause (man), but now I want a motive for this story to complete it. Why did he throw the lizard?“
Oh my god, this is going on my list along with doesthedogdie.com
Holy shit that’s useful
I probably won’t find myself using this but for my followers: if you can’t handle this shit, USE THIS. If you think a movie or tv show may be hard to watch, do your homework.
