cat hate is just so…….. embarrassing
people who hate cats for being “cold” or “mean” never learned emotional intelligence or depth and think that love is only expressed by being submissive and unconditionally obedient
Also people don’t realize that cats can be just as outwardly loving and affectionate as dogs, except people dismiss them as “independent” and consequently ignore them, thus socializing the cat to expect no-contact.
Then they act surprised when the cat doesn’t love belly rubs SMDH I’ve been cuddling my cat since the moment I got her at 9 weeks old and now if she doesn’t get pets within .005 seconds of me walking in the door she yells at me, not to mention whenever I lay down she decides to lay on my chest and fall asleep.
Cats aren’t rude or aloof. You made them that way.
Our 16 year old Norweigan Forest cat named Buttercup is the sweetest old gal to ever exist.
She curls up on my lap constantly, rubs her face all over mine, and will nap beside me with her head on mine
She just doesn’t like her back, feet, tummy, or tail touched. And that’s fine! Giver her head scratches and she will love you forever!
People just need to educate themselves on the body language of cats and how much it differs from dogs
