Concept: a video game where the basic ending is horribly tragic, and every alternative path you can take to try and fix it just makes things worse. However, if you delete all your save files – or have never started a playthrough on that console/account in the first place – and select “Play Credits” from the options menu, you’re instead shown an alternative ending where the protagonist decides to just stay in bed that day, and somehow that causes everything to work out fine. This is the only way to get the True Ending achievement.
