When I say “I’d love to play as an angry support character”, I don’t mean a combat medic, I mean a kindly-looking doctor who can barely fight back but shouts all the time, revives the team by telling them to get up, and would verbally tear down whoever harmed their allies.

Nice Support Character Dialogue:
Healing: Patching you up!
Revive: You’re good to go!
Damaged by enemy: Need backup!
Kills enemy: You left me no choice!

Angry Support Character Dialogue:
Healing: Take it
Revive: Get up
Damaged by enemy: Fuck you
Kills enemy: Natural selection

Give me a beefy ex-biker guy with scars, piercings, tats, and a sweet ass who patches up his teammates with more love and genuine worry that anybody with a real medical license.

Give me a Gordon Ramsey surgeon who despite lacking any combat abilities, relies on their constant shouting and bloodied medical gear to scare both enemy and ally into leaving them alone.

Give me a giant soft-spoken medic too terrified to be in the front lines, but does it anyway, shaking in their boots to bandage their much braver, tougher, and significantly smaller teammates.

Give me unconventional support characters.
