so when i was approx 11 yrs old, i was deeply in love with L from death note. my friends actively discouraged me from this but my love was true and unstoppable.
so when it came time to decorate my binder for sixth grade, naturally i immediately printed out the best graphic of L i could find to slide right in the front. unfortunately, as i mentioned, my friends thought this was dumb as hell. so, embarrassed after several hours of merciless mocking, once i got home i crumpled up and threw the picture away in the trash
several days later i came home again and what do i see on my desk? that picture itself, flattened and framed. my stepmom had found him and said “hes cute! protect him.” and how could i say no to that
