Have you noticed today’s thumbnail?

Doesn’t it strike you as odd a little bit? It is a perfect definition of a Generic Youtube Thumbnail™, with a cool-looking face, red arrow pointing at a circle and a plain purple background.

We know that usually Jack’s thumbnails are very different from that, he doesn’t do the whole clickbait thing and his thumbnails are actually artworks.

It has much more colour and depth-perception, he spends time and effort on each one and it’s really nice to look at, while this last one is just….out there. It’s the odd one’s out.

Even when you compare it to the other colour-blind test, it’s very different.

I might be reaching, maybe I just don’t know where to quit, but hear me out.

What if there are no breaks now? We thought we got an absolutely normal video, but what if we just can’t tell a difference anymore? Since we’re in Egopocalypse, and everything is happening all the time, why would he suddenly break this with a normal video?

You know who fits this clickbait aesthetic perfectly?

The arrow, the circle. It’s all there.

So I’d say, it’s still Chase, it’s always Chase now. We just can’t tell them apart, because who knows for how long we’ve been watching Chase. Yes, sometimes he slips, but we don’t know how good Chase is at pretending to be Jack.

Keep your peepers peepeled people, we overnight watch now. Clues can be literally anywhere, even in “normal” videos.
